Hi, my name is Dahlia. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been a teacher for over twelve years. At the beginning, I taught in a primary school and a preschool for three years. Then, I tried my hand at teaching ESL. That’s the beginning of my nine-year career as an ESL teacher. I find it delightful to teach students from different countries and the experence gives me joy to know about their cultures. 你好！我是Dahlia老師。主修初等教育。目前從事教職長達十二年之久。頭三年在國小幼稚園教書；隨後轉換跑道，開始九年的線上英語老師。 A very wise Chinese man said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” In teaching ESL, I find these words from Confucius are so true. My passion for teaching foreign students led me to strive harder and get better at my craft as a teacher. I would like to impart more than knowledge of English language to my students. I want them to embrace the English and feel proud that they are able to speak the global language. 子曰：「知之者不如好之者，好之者不如樂之者。」在教書生涯中體會到，孔子所說的十分正確。英語教學絕對是我的熱情，這促使我努力，奮發向上成為優秀的老師。我樂意竭盡我能傳授英語知識給我的學生們。 Learning can be fun and English is certainly a fun language to learn.
