Ciao a tutti! I am an Italian language instructor from Rome. I am teaching languages for more than five years now, in many different environments and to students of various backgrounds. I got my BA degree at “La Sapienza' University of Rome in East Asian Studies, with a linguistic curriculum which focused on Japanese language and English. After my graduation I moved to Tokyo, where I lived for about 5 years; there, I started my career as English and Italian teacher along with a work as interpreter in a hotel in Tokyo city centre.

In Autumn 2020, I was accepted as a student in a Research Master’s course in Humanities offered by Stockholm University, focusing my academic interest in translation studies and comparative literature. During that time, I used to live in Stockholm until I graduated with great results in 2022. Now, I am back to Rome, and I am a full-time language teacher. The lessons I carry out are built on the basis of the level and individual abilities of each student. Furthermore, the courses are structured aiming at the students' achievement of their personal linguistic goals (university career, professional career, simple personal interest in Italian culture, etc.).

The didactic material that I use in my lessons includes grammar and exercises textbooks and, in order to integrate the oral explanations and the textbooks, specific didactic material created according to the needs and the topic dealt with by each student. The years I spent living abroad, from Asia to Europe, gave me the chance to get in touch with people from different countries, cultures, and languages; this provided me with the tools to pursue my interest in language teaching and helped me to improve my ability to develop different teaching methods to approach any kind of necessity from my students, in the best way possible.
